The Program Committee is a standing committee under Article XI, Section B.3 of the CCRC By-Laws, focused on programmatic initiatives. It expands on RPV Party Plan goals of promoting Republican principles through education and outreach (Article I).
Purpose and Responsibilities
Educational Development: Designed to create opportunities such as activities, events, videos, blogs, and materials for members and non-members, consistent with the organization's beliefs and objectives.
Expanded Role: Organizes speaker series, workshops on policy issues, social media content, and community events to educate on Republican values (e.g., limited government, fiscal responsibility). It fosters engagement through blogs on local issues and videos on candidate spotlights, ensuring content aligns with RPV principles.
Membership and Structure
Consists of a Program Chairman appointed by the Unit Chairman, plus members chosen by the Chairman.
Meetings as needed to plan events.
