Door Knocking
This will be our most impactful and resource-intensive effort. Please sign up for this effort as it will pay dividends when our fellow citizens get a chance to see us and receive truthful literature about the 3 amendments and our candidates running for office.
Community Outreach
Go to your community organizations (churches, community groups, etc.) and distribute flyers (see below) about the upcoming amendments. We are also happy to provide you with talking points to deliver to your organization, or if you're not comfortable with public speaking, we can find a committee member to give the presentation. Please let us know which organizations you have reached, as the committee will also be reaching out.
Phone Banking
In addition to reaching out to groups to which we are already affiliated, we need to start directly contacting voters in the community. Phone banking, while less personal than door knocking, will allow us to get the word out while balancing our other personal obligations. Please sign up to call at least a few folks to let them know how important it is to vote this year.
Signs
Wayne Fox, everyone's favorite Committee Member, has been all over the County putting up signs, as I'm sure you have all seen. Supply from the various campaigns is inconsistent due to their limited budgets and battleground strategies. Also, I have thus far demurred on purchasing the RPV amendment signs because "just say no" doesn't tell the story—we need to deliver that message in person and in longer form. That said, we recently received 27 very well-done amendment signs, and we have more on the way. We have also been assured by the campaign teams that more candidate signs are on the way.
